Movement of CFERC Working Committee, Saiha is too slow to safe the hungry People:

Working Committee of CFERC at Saiha has been formed on 20th April,2008 under the leadership of Mr. Chan Thawng the Chairman of CFERC. The sanction money Rs.  1,60,000.00 also has been handed over to the committee in aims of the most needy villages. The Committee Chairman Mr. C. Thahe said, “We are trying to purchase rice in low price aiming more distribution of rice to the needy people.” But the hungry people who are spending their days without food and worrying for future are eagerly waiting and looking at any help. Some are trying to flee into Mizoram, India by fear of death. The following households from Ngaphaite village though they like to flee, they neither dare choose it nor to live without a handful of rice while others can struggle with little amount of money for day-by-day life. The reliable sources said, “For days and months, we tried to look after each other by sharing one’s to those who has not. But now we are all equal in need of food.”  There are more and more people who flee into Mizoram, India. The movement of CFERC Working Committee seems too slow as shown under
